A Call To Fasting And Prayer

Dear friends of Crossroads Greeley Church

We have an opportunity as a church to pray for a miracle. Crossroads was served an eviction notice yesterday at the office of St. Michael’s, where our congregation meets for services. The new bank ownership has given us “notice to quit” and we have 30 days to vacate. March 31st, Easter Sunday, will be our last services at St. Michael’s property.

We have spoken with our denominational leaders, who are in negotiations with the bank and are asking for an extension on our eviction. We are in communication with other churches in West Greeley asking about the use of their space for off-hours. We are in need of a meeting space, temporarily or permanently.

We view this as an opportunity for a miracle as we grow in faith and unity. Pastor Reid will speak more to this on Sunday morning, March 3rd in both services as we receive communion and have a time of prayer together.

The Lord God is calling us to a time of fasting and prayer for the next 5 weeks as we seek God’s leading for a facility worship space.

In Christ with you,

Pastor Reid Olson & Leadership Team

Philippians 4:4-7
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness
be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything,
but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I was a pastor who still knows a personal connection with God and I like to share thoughts and insights to make God's Kingdom a little more tangibly, while sharing conversations on leadership insights. Now I'm a funeral director, still seeking to share about Jesus.
