Pastor Reid Olson of Crossroads Church of Greeley teaches on silence as a spiritual discipline. How often do you take the time to be quiet and listen to the speaking of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we can get away from others long enough to be quiet for a moment. We need to learn to be still before the Lord. To be quiet and practice solitude is something that builds our faith, grows our confidence in the Lord, gives us strength to carry on through the hard times, and lets us rest in the trust that God will provide.
