When the Spirit of God acts in a way that seems contrary to our human expectations, does the character of God come into question? Humanity has seemed to lose respect for God’s perfect holiness. We have the option to choose life, or choose death. When Peter & John were imprisoned for preaching, an angel of the Lord released them from prison only to tell them to continue to preach about this new life. Death on the front end of Acts 5, and new life at the closing. Which will you choose? Choose life, there is more blessing that way.

As we look through the Book of Acts, we pay attention to the true character of God. We look to the character of God so that we have a firm foundation to stand on when all around us is crumbling. Join us each week as we walk through the Book of Acts together.
Comparison is a killer. It kills your joy, it kills relationships, it kills marriages, it kills your purposes in the world. Why? Comparison is an open admission to God that you’re not happy with who He made you to be, and you wish you were like someone else. There may be something called healthy competition, or challenge to grow stronger, but the negative side of challenge is comparison. Don’t compare yourself to others, it leads only to pride, or to resentment.
We have lost enough battles to over fear, but we cannot lose the war. You don’t have to live a life of fear any longer. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and a sound mind. It’s time to use that sound mind to overcome fear in life. Fear grows when we give it power. You no longer need to be afraid. Stand courageous before the Lord and let His grace empower you.
Some people think all roads lead to God. Some people think that since Jesus died, everyone is automatically saved. Some people think all religions are the same and all roads lead to God. Who’s right, and how do we know who is right? If one is right, does that make the others wrong? What happens to people outside the faith? Join us this week as we explore whether all roads lead to God or not.
Angels are real and they have work to do. They worship God, they deliver messages, they are warriors in battle. We don’t often recognize the work of angels, but they watch over the children of God more often than we realize. Join us as we talk about the reality of angels in the spiritual realm.
Jesus is no longer in the tomb, the grave is empty and the women tell the others. What are going to be your “famous last words” to the world, or to your family? You have a choice to make in faith. Either you believe and are saved, or you don’t and you won’t. We talk about the famous last words of John the Baptist, of Jesus, of the women and of the Great Commission. Don’t miss this Easter special.
