If you have the Spirit of God living within you, if you’ve given your life to God in surrender to His will, then you’re in a fight, a fight for your very life. God has won the victory, but we struggle with battles in the spirit, daily. Battles we cannot see with our natural eyes, but battles that are real and difficult surround us.
We have important work to do, and sometimes we think we’re not good enough, or we’re not worthy, or we have messed up too far, so God would dare think me useful.
Does God always answer prayers the way we pray them? Is God responsible to answer everything we pray about? Some say that God always answer prayers, sometimes with a yes, sometimes with a maybe and sometimes with a no. Could there be anything in your life that may be blocking your prayer life with God? Could it be that we may not like the answers that God gives us when we pray?
Sometimes we feel inadequate to accomplish the calling God has for us, in our own power, but with God’s power, we can do everything in Christ. Join us for a lesson in what God thinks of you.
Too often we believe the lies from the devil that we’re not good enough, that we’re not strong enough, that we just can’t change the way we are. None of these lies are true, but we can be tricked into believing them to be true. Follow along with us as we look at 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 at how the Apostle Paul speaks to us about “weakness” rather than strength, which glorifies God.
What does it take to make your marriage count for the long haul? How do you commit to one another for a healthy marriage that will reap a harvest? We look into the context of Galatians 6, reaping and sowing for your marriage, and discover together the gift of faithfulness that will last. Join us for this refreshing look into covenant fidelity.
Hebrews 13:4 “Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”
You can work as hard as you want to make things right, but you have to have some fun together once in a while. Don’t neglect the joy in relationships. Don’t get too busy with the scheduling, the parenting, the managing of the home that you forget to make things fun together. Fun is not a luxury, it is a necessity in a healthy marriage.
Join us as we talk about John 15 in how God has our faith grow to produce fruit. We talk about God’s purpose in our lives as we seek to know Jesus. How is your faith growing?
Our calling is to follow the mission of Jesus in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Our goal is to REACH the lost with the gospel of salvation.
